After spending many years diving and spearfishing throughout Florida and the Caribbean, Captain Dave has chosen Pensacola as his home. The Y Knot? is a 29 ft. twin-hulled Pro Sports Kat known for its stability and comfort. With Twin Yamaha 225's it cuts travel time considerably and no diesel fumes! On board are state of the art electronics including Radar, GPS, Fishfinder, and VHF radio. The boat's features include an enclosed head (restroom), custom observation tower, deck lights, windlass, warm freshwater shower, custom dive ladder and a walk-through transom. The boat is laid out specifically for diving and provides for easy entry and exits. Always with safety in mind, the Y-Knot? is furnished with EPIRB, First Aid and 02 kits. The catamaran design is one of the oldest in the world. Natives migrating from island to island employing the catamaran design expanded settlement of the South Pacific. Boaters in such places as Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, who have to deal with heavy seas daily, have used this design for the past three decades to make it possible to launch and fish some of the wildest seas in the World. The shallow draft of the catamaran design also enables access to areas that conventional hulls can not reach. The expanded deck area of the relatively rectangular catamaran design allows for more room and load capacity, everyone can fish one side of the boat without the listing effect that you will experience on a monohull.

Captain Jim Meyers has 40 years experience on Gulf Coast and Caribbean waters in both sailing and motor vessels, and has been both a NAUI and PADI dive instructor for 12 years. Dr. Dive offers divers a fast and comfortable ride on a 26-foot Glacier Bay catamaran with its wave slicing hulls and 150 hp Yamaha engines. The ride is clean and dry in all sea conditions with a low environmental impact from the Ultra Low Emission outboards. Integrated electronics ensure accurate navigation, positive wreck location and safety with full radar and communication gear. Amenities for customer comfort include ample storage, enclosed head, cushioned seating, full fishing and spearfishing capability, and insulated fish boxes for your catch. Fresh water and salt water wash down, custom dive ladder, O2, First Aid, step-through transom and ample deck space provide a safe and diver friendly platform. Dr. Dive _________________________________________________________ Captain Buddy Reel Eazy Charters Reel Eazy Charters offers "Private" dive charters for you and your group to the USS Oriskany. The Reel Eazy always has a scuba instructor/divemaster onboard to assist with any technical questions, dive site layout and expectations of the dive. The divemaster will assist with loading/unloading, gearing up and entry/exit from the boat. Personalized divemaster services, including a guided tour of the site, are also available for an additional, per diver, fee. We work with several dive shops in the Pensacola and Gulf Breeze area to have rental equipment available for you. The 46 Newton, with A/C cabin, fresh hot water shower, spacious back deck area and walk-through transom for easy water entry and exiting, is the only multi-passenger dive boat on Pensacola Beach. The Reel Eazy is the only fishing boat that is also a custom dive boat complete with tank holders and diver friendly benches capable of carrying up to 18-20 divers.
